This holiday season, Mayfaire has seen its fair share of holiday shoppers. But what you may not realize is that in the midst of the crowd are a select group who didn’t fight the traffic to get their holiday shopping done.
How is that you ask? Let me give you the quick and easy answer.
They didn’t fight the traffic because they simply walked down the hall, took the elevator, and exited the front entrance of their condominium building.
This small group of shoppers enjoys the rare privilege of living where they shop. That is right! They live right above the stores in Mayfaire. They can come and go as they please.

The first phase of the Mayfaire Townview condominium community was

John Howard Jr. saw the value of the convenience of living at Mayfaire Townview and was one of the first to purchase a unit, according to Elizabeth Humphrey of the Star News Paper.
“I love it. It is convenient and relaxing. I can go get something quick to eat. It’s nice that everything is so close. I don’t go to the movies as often as I thought. I have more free time-I don’t have worries about house cares.”
Melissa Miller, a relationship manager with Wachovia Wealth Management, gave up her home in Marsh Oaks to take residence in Mayfaire Townview. Like Howard, Melissa Miller was one of the first homeowners at Townview. She tells the Star News, “I loved the concept of town center and being able to walk everywhere: O2 Fitness, Starbucks, movies on Sunday. And it’s a great investment.”
